Help Getting Started

If you are technically able you may be able to skip this section and go straight to the download section where you will be able to see the technical specifications required by our systems – along with the various modules that you can introduce to create a bespoke package.
If you are not quite an IT guru then why not call on our expertise and experience and let us guide you through the terms and phrases that can quite frankly confuse a simple issue. We are on hand to listen to your requirements and to help you gain a good understanding of what you need and how much it costs. You can either call us on 0870 444 2160 or send us your query by mail. We will respond to your emails within 24 hours.

What you need to set up

Here is a list of basic requirements you will need to set up video conferencing for desktop conferencing:
  • camera, usually attached to the top of the monitor.
  • microphone.
  • speakers - even where speakers are built in to a workstation, external ones will provide better quality audio. Alternatively headphones may be useful, particularly in a shared office.
  • video board - to capture the signal from the camera and convert it to digital form.
  • network card - usually an Ethernet card for connection to the LAN, or an ISDN card.
